Thanks to the audiences and the judges of the 2006 DC 48 Hour Film Project for bestowing three awards on Travesty Films: the Audience Award, Most Creative Use of Genre, and Best Original Song, which must be shared with the lovely and talented kids in The Hickories.

Kudos, too, to the other filmmakers for some fabulously entertaining movies. A special tip of the hat to Jeremy Koller and the Shaolin Monkeys team for their Best of the Best “family film,” Owensville.

Look for Travesty’s “Den Førpagter Hüs” (The Boarding House) online sometime, uh, soon.

Travesty Films is proud to announce that it’s latest 48 Hour Film Project film (er, project?) received the Audience Award for its screening.

“Den Førpagter Hüs” tells the heartwarming story of a young boy on a voyage of discovery. Wait, no–it’s a  gripping real-life drama ripped from today’s headlines. Uh, that’s not it, either. Well, come see it at the AFI Silver Theater on Thursday, May 25 at 7 or 9:30 p.m.

Thank you.
